Sayers Cars driver and Passenger Terms & Conditions Agreement
This Terms and Conditions Agreement (“Agreement”) outlines the responsibilities, expectations, and rules governing the relationship between the Driver and Passenger(s). By participating in the journey, all parties agree to the following:

1. Definitions
– Driver: The individual operating the vehicle.
– Passenger(s): Any individual(s) traveling in the vehicle.
– Journey: The agreed trip from pick-up location to destination.

2. Driver Responsibilities
– The Driver must hold a valid driver’s license and comply with all applicable road laws and regulations.
– The Driver agrees to operate the vehicle safely, responsibly, and without impairment (e.g., alcohol, drugs, fatigue).
– The Driver is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy, insured, and properly maintained.
– The Driver has the right to refuse service if Passenger behavior is unsafe, illegal, or abusive.

3. Passenger Responsibilities
– Passengers must behave respectfully toward the Driver and other passengers at all times.
– Seatbelts must be worn where legally required.
– Passengers must not engage in illegal activities during the journey.
– Any damage caused by a Passenger to the vehicle must be compensated by the responsible Passenger.
– Passengers must follow reasonable instructions given by the Driver for safety purposes.

4. Payment Terms (if applicable)
– The fare must be agreed upon before the journey begins unless using a metered or app-based system.
– Payment must be made promptly upon completion of the journey unless otherwise agreed.
– Any additional costs (e.g., tolls, parking fees) must be clarified in advance.

5. Cancellations and Delays
– Either party should provide reasonable notice if cancellation is necessary.
– The Driver is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
– Passengers should be ready at the agreed pick-up time; excessive delays may result in cancellation.

6. Safety and Liability
– All parties acknowledge that travel involves inherent risks.
– The Driver is not responsible for loss or damage to Passenger belongings unless due to negligence.
– Passengers enter and exit the vehicle at their own risk.

7. Code of Conduct
– No smoking, vaping, or consumption of illegal substances unless explicitly permitted by the Driver.
– No aggressive, discriminatory, or inappropriate behavior will be tolerated.
– Loud or disruptive behavior should be avoided to ensure a safe and comfortable journey.

8. Termination of Journey
– The Driver reserves the right to terminate the journey if a Passenger violates these terms.
– In such cases, no refund may be provided if safety is compromised.

9. Agreement Acceptance
By entering the vehicle and participating in the journey, both Driver and Passenger(s) acknowledge and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
